They say, the only way to love someone is to not care about the risk of getting hurt and just jump right into it headfirst.
But i do believe in taking calculated risks.

Last Wednesday was my presentation. C and i decided to present on mate preferences - the biological basis.
Apparently, the research studies showed that we sniff out our mates literally.
Based on the MHC allele complementarity, we choose mates who are the most dissimilar to us based on the mate market availability of course! The MHC allele for HLA influences odour intensity and type and thus, determines if someone smells nice enough to a particular individual.
The nicer the BO. The more compatible are the 2 individuals.
One word of advice, choosing a mate with MHC alleles which are similar to yours, increases your risk of having multiple partners in your relationship. haha.
