Post exam fun directly began after anatomy paper last friday. =) The boy took off day again, like last time (semester), to celebrate the passing of the big exams' blues. Though for me, it took some time for the news to hit. Reserved seats, we caught Forbidden Kingdom and i rate it 4 stars for its action. I still do believe that they should have chosen a better looking monkey god. HAHA. bleh.
* More excitingly, we managed to conquer MacRitchie Tree Top walk on Saturday. Whahaha. As teeny medals, i've got mosquito bites to prove that our journey fared not without breaking a sweat. It has been pretty hot these couple of days. There were a ton of runners running along our path. I wonder how they manage to since the road wasn't really condusive for running. The track up was 4.8km while we somehow missed the turn and took the wrong route down. We accidentally side-tracked to the 11km route. *smacks head* It followed the golf course and at certain moments, we thought we were lost. HAHA. Well. I came through though. Cherlyn Power! hahaa. Oh cos its true that i lead the way for the path back (not the boy). whahaha. *rub it in* Finally, we exited at Lornie road and headed down to Botak Jones. God. We waited 1 hour in the queue to place the order. (ok i admit, i was comfortably seated and shaking my leg while the other stood in line. *bleh*) The food took another 20minutes to come. I ordered swank and fries. Anyways, their menu was pretty hilarious and entertaining. The proportions were more than enough and i'll say that the wait was well worth it. I'll head there again and slowly strike each dish off the menu. Okay, maybe i'll not try all. That would take ages. So Saturday was quite an accomplishment. Wasn't really tired at the end of it all. Really. Next up, Kent Ridge Boardwalk.
