Been coughing so badly this whole week that my throat and lungs hurt. *sobsies* My appeal to increase the class size went through. Yayness! SO now i get to take 'Power, Space and Pleasure'.. One of the most sought after writing module. *grins* * Biodiversity lab today was real interesting. We went to Kent Ridge Park for a field trip to see the flora and fauna. Saw lots of Smilax bracteata and Dillenia suffructicosa. But i must say the obligate mutualism between Ficus and Fig wasps top-ed it off. How sad can it be if the male wasps only role is to mate and die. If not mate, self-sacrifice to the ants and then still die. LOL. Just for the females. HAHA. MOst memorable of all for the field trip was our walk back to NUS lab. Started raining, as our TA suggested, we took a short cut. Halfway i led the way and slipped onto mosses, landing myself into a small drain. Then there was this stupid fern leaf that was seriously in my way. Had to force it back just to stand up. >_< Amazingly hard. haha. The only horror for biodiversity lab was the CA that we had to do immediately after the trip. Agh. No help that they told us just before the start of the practical. Oh man. Haha. So much for today. Dance was great. *
