back from outer space

So I'm back from outer space.
Hello World!
3 major events has occurred and it yet it isn't quite a blur.
If memory serves me right, it started with my prom. :))

5th december, a beautiful Tuesday, a special night.
NOche Arc En Cil.
**
Finally it began.
As we took the next step towards our dreams.
For me, i awoke sleepy-eyed at 10am.
I was going to meet Chewy and Aud at 2.30pm but in the meantime, i had to continue packing my stuff for the big trip.
The only party pooper of anything to do with travelling was the packing process.
At least the rewards were always super humongous. haha..

Chewy was right on time at tanah merah station while aud was still stuck in Pasir Ris. LOL!
So we drove to whitesands to pick up princess aud.
We were all princesses for that day. (actually everyday =) exactly what jacq said, born to be one)
MY mom rocks!
Anyway, we checked into the room at Pan Pacific Hotel and waited for gypsy, our makeup artist.
I was the guinea pig (the first one) to have my make-up done. haha..
It took horrendously long. Seriously.
After my turn, aud and then ade had their share of fun.
When we were almost ready, we decided to let the guys (who eagerly wanted to use the bathroom to doll themselves =p) into the hotel room.
What i love and hate about our hotel is that only people with the card keys could have access to floors above the fourth level.
And well, ours was the 30th.
Hmmm.. as usual, the guys were full of comments. haha..
One comment stuck.
OUr hairsyles.
Mine was "coconut tree", Aud was "tumor" and Ade had the pleasure of having a "horse's mane"
LOL!
It was hilarious.

Apparently, after all the dolling up and malfunctions ( the guys keep forgetting their stuff in the hotel room) we were late.
NOt so. Really.
We had our grand entry at 7:30pm. (With the fact that prom began at 7pm)
An hour later, the ball of fun kicked off. [it was fun from the start]
**
10 people sat at our round table.
Oh by the way, we had memory loss and couldn't remember our table number. hahaa.
We stood there for about 30 seconds hoping everybody settles down, leaving an empty table (identified as ours). BUt obviously that would take ages to occur.
Table number 26! The one use counsellors had.
According to seating arrangement, there was JOn, Aud, moi, Ade, Ben, Yinsy, Zhen yee, Yancheng, Kenneth and Xinpeng.
**
The food appealed to my taste buds. It wasn't horrible. Thank GOd.
THe cold plate consisted of California maki, Jellyfish, duck meat, ngoh hiam and octopus.
yep, i ate the jellyfish and octopus for the first time.
I have no i dea why i would squeeze my eyes shut when i eat icky food. haha.. cause it doesn't affect much does it?
There are always firsts.
And i liked it.
For the next dish, we had prawns!
oh great.
YAncheng was hilarious.
Yc: i dowan to peel leh.
okay, so we didnt' want to peel it, but it was mainly the girls view. haha
i did manage to figure a way to kung fu my prawn out of its shell using just chopsticks.
YAY me! *grins*
Peeling a prawn was tiring. (uses alot of mana. haha) Lucky for me, ben came to my rescue. =))
the rest of the meal was equally delicious but not so fascinating. (veges with mushrooms, noodles etc.)
Tell me, is it a rule that prom deserts have to be yucky?
Well. i didn't eat my chestnutty desert. AGAIN! that horrible kind. (sec 4 prom had one too)

The performances were more comedy like while the music should have been more slow rock.
Dinner was filling. I guess the endless supply of sprite did the trick.
Especially when the waiters were super enthusiastic, refilling our glasses when its just half filled. haha
After dinner, i used my extra energy taking pictures! (losta camwhoring!) wheeee!!!
**
Prom ended at 11:55pm. VEry late.
To think we ate dinner for almost 4 hours. haha..
The night was young and so are we.
Aud and i continued to search for people we know and drag them into pictures. haha.. in other words, we were having a great time snapping pics!
Our gang somewhat pulled a disappearing act. But lucky us, with the invention of handphones, there's hardly the chance of getting lost.
12:30pm.
We found them at the lobby.
**
What happened after that was totally unexpected.
Seriously.
After we strolled into the lobby, to my honour and in all that excitement, i was dragged into a pic. (not literally though. haha)
The truth was i was wondering, didn't i already take pictures with them? haha..but it was alright i guess.
It wouldnt hurt to take another pic to remember that night. (yep, we'll prob get all senile as the years go by)
So i felt them move closer. okay.
Smiling for the camera, in retrospect, i can't believe i was SO blur!
Geex, how on earth could i be so oblivious to their plan. haha.
All was revealed by a boo.
Shocked. Surprised. Stunned. Selly was standing there.
In the midst of laughing in disbelief, i was almost on the verge of chasing ade around the lobby. hahaa
(i admit it was a nice surprise. BUt how could i have been tricked!)
**
We dumped our stuff in the hotel room and rested for the night marathon ahead.
After which, we walked.
Walked from PAnpac to the esplanade to one fullerton.
Of course we took pics all the way. haha..
Its quite tiring to walk in heels.
But we were charged up for the night!
I didn't meet lil dragon in the end. haha..That's because we didn't go to club momo.
We didn't watch our intended movie too.
But i still managed to enjoy myself tremendously.
**
The people with me were Zhenyee, Yinsy, Yancheng, David, Jaryl, JOnjon, Aud, Xinpeng and Ade.
Finally reached our room at 3 plus, Not to lay and rest our heads.
There wasn't a chance that i could really sleep. haha
Everytime i lay down to rest and just as i get to close my eyes, the bed would start trembling, signaling the start of a pillow fight.
Pity chewy who was trying hard to sleep. Sorryy.
In the end, she gave up trying and joined in the fun. haha.
On one instance, i was taupok-ed. It was rather comical.
Imagine, during the process of being taupoked i was first covered with a blanky. But then ade and the rest started screaming (talking loudly) that we all have to have a breathing hole. haha.
After ensuring that, they continued. LOL!
Anyway, for most of the time, i was the finisher of the taupok. haha. the last to pile.
We got recharged on jon's chocolate snowman and pandan cake.
yummilicious. whahaha..
**
Meanwhile, we decided that we were to swim at 7am.
Qiu hui was our photographer.
Thanks alot! =))
Tag in water is tiring. majorly.
Time passed real quickly when you're having fun.
After our morning swim, we had a soak in the bathtub (in our swimsuits, of course) !
wheeeeeeeeee..
I seriously don't know how we (Aud, ade and I) managed to fit into the hotel bathtub. haha..
We took nice bathtub piccys. JOn was our bathroom service guy. hahaha..
He provided the music, water sprays and fountain. haha..
I believe the bathtub fun superceded the swimming pool fun. hahah..
*grins*
**
SOon it was time to check out. Awwwwww..
I left them for lunch with my mom. PLus, to prepare for the next event. haha.
Boy! I was on a roll of fun!!!!!!!!
Counting that i didn't sleep the whole night through except for the measly 1 hour after i bathed. haha..
But when we're having a great time, who cares about sleep right?
**
That night,
I hoped we will always remain the same.
Tight knit as always.
