i'm back!!! hehee its after mid years...finally had time..which seems to escape me so these days..
June 21st is what i want to elaborate...hehee oh..i had a beach chalet as a birthday gift from my mom...surprised me. Anyway, it was 3 days, 2 nights at east coast. Did i say that i lurve the east? - east coast i mean.. Its so cooling here...with all the lush greenery..the sea..the peacefulness.. At least around my place..thats why i love my secondary school with my whole heart.. haha..Temasek Secondary School..a school surrounded by forests. From the sky, its just a spot in the middle of plant life. -NATURE- i feel so majorly deprived in pasir ris..its like a concrete jungle..the heat is stifling too..the trees i see are all so small and skinny..most of the plant life is grass and more grass..urgh.. Pasir ris needs a makeover, revamp..Call in those instant tree companies. *sighz* BUT..it'd made me appreciate east coast more..hahaa
Anyways back to the topic...after such a long digression. oh yea..the chalet was from the 20-22 june.. 20th was the official barbeque date.. invited all my present and past class..that is 02s201 (Jae) and 05s202 (pae).. However, due to "you-know-what" after the june holidays and since its the last week of june hols..many couldnt make it..hahaa..but never mind..its the quality and not the quantity. It also ' showed' who would actually not mind taking away a few hours of study time to come have fun..bleargh..i'm not sterotyping though.
Well..that day everything was a rush..blame it on transportation. I met qiu hui, audrey and yi cheng at 4pm. Though i was fashionably late as usual, it was so NOT my fault..haha..anyways poor qiu hui was waitin there alone in macdonald's. Next, it was audrey and yi cheng turn, they did an amazing feat and arrived at 5pm..P-lease.. Finally, we could move on!!..walked 15 mins to the chalet..tiring.
uhhuh..then it was time to play the waiting game again..haha..we played cards to pass the time..so expected right? what came next was quite hilarious.. at dunnoe what time..maybe 5.45pm, Seng wai and kerry turned up and stood outside the chalet..they were funny..walked in then walked out..they repeated that routine a number of times. For fun, peace, joy and laughter, we daoed them..-aud's idea- pretented they werent there and immersed ourselves in cards..haha..then audrey the great had another GREAT idea..she took my phone and called Seng wai..haha..so lame..waste my minutes only..yi cheng was the speaker and he told them to come in..haha
Fast forward, shiling and edrei appeared..we went upstairs and started playing jenga cause biking was a out-of-the question-choice due to the time and rates.. The game was quite sadistic..haha..ms foo joined us a while later..and we witnessed quite a few comedian dares..eg. > edrei had to sing Akon's version of Mr Lonely in the high pitched chipmunk's voice..thinking about it, we grinned, laugh till the tummy cramps came..haha > shiling had to smell someone socks..EWWW... she asked for someone to volunteer their feet but nobody dared..haha..must be afraid to let people check whether they had feet B.O. In the end, seng wai's feet was chosen..the only one with socks on..haha.. Shiling din even wrinkle her nose. To our surprise, seng wai's socks were clean socks..imagine that! [too bad right?] > oh... audrey had to do a rendition of a belly dancer..her dares' all seemed to be action dares..haha ----we found out that everyone was ticklish---
Fast forward...BARBEQUE time...there was so much yummy food..haha..let me paint the picture: Baked poatoes, chicken wings (specially seasoned), wine chicken, hotdogs, beehoon, mixed vegetables, spagetti, cupcakes, jelly, watermelon. spongecakes...and of course my BIRTHDAY CAKE....its sooo nice...chocalate cake covered in M&Ms, gummie hearts and mini oreo cookies...all in the magic number 17..woohoo..my mum outdid herself... Junjie and ee hong appeared for the bbq..
== anyway, a revelation came to me that day...that only i and a couple of close friends know..hmm..shall cut out this part...though some words that day shouldnt have been spoken...made me realised some stuff...imagination was better than reality..
At ten, all those mentioned above left the picture...but before that we had major fun time snapping memories..haha..doing wacky poses.. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 21st june what happened next night and day was super way super enjoyable... close friends slept over and we practically went crazy..haha Overtired ourselves on the 21st of june too...played like there was no tomorrow..in the company of cute girls and handsome, adorable guys...the day was full of non-stop F-U-N, surprises and wackiness... So that is my story of my sweet not sour Seventeen...
Oh yea..i was majorly lucky and scored 3 strikes that day during bowling that day...whoohoo --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
okies...a lil insight on what i recieved on my big day:
- 17 birthday smses..ranging from a day before till 11:59pm on 21st june..haha the earliest one was from Desmond and the last one Alex, who wished me more then once throughout the day..haha..so sweet..-disacharride-
- 2 cards - with touching contents..hee*
-loads of hugs and *kisses*
-12 and much more prezzies..ooohhh to name a few... 1. A digital camera - yippee!!! 2. A black GUESS walet - like omigod..i'm so super touched and like WOW.. 3. Many accessories..ranging from earrings, necklaces and bracelets.. there's perlini silver bracelet and dolphin pearl earrings... 4. A cute lil bear..squishy.. 5. A doggy handphone holder that barks...real hilarious =) 6. A snow/ glitter globe from paris..pretty 7. handphone accessories 8. Pencil holders...so cute man..practical too..doggy pencil holders in my fave colours.. 9. Cool clothes.. arrrghh too many too type..so well thats a vague idea of what prezzies i got..
- a bouquet of roses with ferera rocher chocolates..ahhh...hit my sweet tooth rite on the dot..i'm just so in lurve with chocolates..so special to me..
- 2 email birthday cards...
